At Kilted Christmas Tree we understand the importance of accessibility and we have developed our own accessibility guidelines. We ensure that our web developers keep up to date with standards and accessibility best practice to ensure we can offer the best service to all our customers.
We have requested that our developers design them with accessibility guidelines in mind:
- Ensure navigation throughout the site works in a consistent way and convenient way.
- Our web pages use a standard web font to make it easy for all to read. In most cases, the size of the font can be adjusted , using standard browser and operating system options.
- All the images are given 'alt text' alternatives except those which are only decorative; the tags for these are left blank.
- Our website will try to avoid using colour as the only way to convey information.
